Earth + Sky
Amorgos Island, Greece | Aegialis Hotel
May 9-16, 2025
𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗛 represents Yin (feminine), 𝗦𝗞𝗬 represents Yang (masculine); at this retreat for all bodies you’ll experience yourself as a conduit between heaven and earth, balanced and connected to your higher self and to those around you.
Together we’ll embark on an ARCHETYPAL ADVENTURE with time to rest and renew.
What to Expect
You’re invited to two scenic practices daily. Yoga therapist Amanda Trevelino leads movement as metaphor, weaving story telling with grounding and relaxing yoga, and Aerial professional Amber Monson uplifts and elevates with fun, gravity-defying silks instruction. We’ll gather around magnificent meals, stroll timeless trails and visit two of the island's quaint towns. And there will be time for your choice of healing spa rituals within a fully appointed and professionally staffed spa, pool and fitness boutique.
Amorgos Island, a tiny gem in the Aegean Sea, is simply magical; sought by pilgrims for centuries, it’s a place that supports transformative growth. Here, you can plunge into a cobalt sea, soak in salt water pools, connect on ancient trails and at sacred sites, all while diving deep into MYTH, mindful movement, AERIAL YOGA and self-discovery. Or, do nothing at all. This is your time, in a timeless land.
Would you like MORE time? For guests of EARTH + SKY, we've curated an eight day hiking holiday through three more Aegean Islands. This is one of the best ways to authentically experience Greek hospitality and uncommon beauty. For more information about our luxe eco trek visit www.santosha-studio.com or request an invitation.

Amanda Trevelino | Host
Kim Saunders | Co-Host
A student of the Kripalu yoga lineage, I embrace all forms of yoga as personal inquiry, and I strive to create judgment-free environments for Self-Discovery. In 2016, I founded Santosha Studio to offer the community a collaborative sanctuary for meaningful practice with an emphasis on uplifting the sacred feminine. Conscious travel expands that vision, broadening explorations of Self — physically, mentally and spiritually — as well as building life-long connections. As Anaïs Nin teaches, “we don’t see the world as it is, we see it as we are.”
Amber Monson | Co-Host
Kim’s mission is to help you to find wholeness in your body, mind, and your life. She’s an integrative and somatic psychotherapist, a yoga therapist and a practitioner of 40 years. Her visionary YTT Collective introduces hundreds of people to yogic teachings and the potential to share steps toward Unity within and without.
Drawn towards the creative expressions of yoga, Amber believes that conscious movement, in any form, is a gateway to deeper connection with oneself and our divine joy. She weaves together 15 years of experience in aerial dance, yoga, personal training, and Pilates into a playfully empowering adventure.

“Our small-group, conscious travel takes us to a sacred land of mythological gods and goddesses. Over seven nights you'll meet an authentic community of like-minded, yogic mortals as well as mythic, feminine archetypes.
The island’s capital features picturesque alleyways, Amorgian boutiques and Cycladic architecture. The nearby Monastery of Hozoviotissa, is the second built church in Greece and one of the most popular national monasteries. The experience is magical, walking up 300 steps to reach the architectural wonder built in the high cliffs, overlooking deep blue waters.
A less visited sacred site, Agios Georgios Valsamitis, was a female monastery during the Byzantine era. A Holy Water spring and a cistern that brings water into the Temple, indicates that this is a place where an ancient water oracle pre-existed.
Time seems fluid here. There is no need to hurry. Days can be spent simply basking in the golden sunlight, lingering by the water, or allowing introspective time for yourself. This island has a way of bringing people back to themselves. Immerse in the Amorgean experience at your own pace.
Be An Explorer
In the coming months, we will introduce more conscious travel destinations. These are opportunities for self-discovery, applying the philosophy and ethics of yoga within a cultural exchange.

Because Santosha is required to book the resort property in advance, there is no cancellation option. All payments are final; however payments are transferrable to a friend or family member. Also. we do recommend travel insurance should something change that requires you to cancel.

Amorgos does not have an airport, rather it’s reached with daily ferries. Athens International Airport (ATH) is the most convenient to arrive. Ferries start from Athens port, Piraeus and dock at Katapola. SeaJets [Superjets] will be the fastest ferry. Travel is from Piraeus [Athens] to Katapola [Amorgos] where transfer is included. Recommended to book the Club class [roughly $15 more, but worth it]. Return from Amorgos to Athens [SuperJet]. Approximately $200 roundtrip. Book at seajets.com.
