Untamed
Nature, Nurture, Nidra in the Osa Peninsula Costa Rica
January 18-25, 2025
Awaken each day to earth’s rhythms; to the sounds of the enlivening jungle and the pure life of the rich coast. Pura Vida is a state of mind and a philosophy that arises from embodying a peaceful, simple, uncluttered life in harmony with nature.
The bio-diversity found on the Osa peninsula is unsurpassed. Corcovado National Park encompasses the only remaining old growth wet forests on the Pacific Coast of Central America, and 13 major ecosystems where there is a good chance of spotting some of Costa Rica’s shyest and most endangered inhabitants: Tapirs, Jaguars, Scarlet Macaws, Harpy Eagles, Red-backed squirrel monkeys and White-lipped Peccaries.
our Retreat Center
Rainforest meets ocean at our private, boutique yoga and wellness destination. Immersed in nature steps from the beach, with proximity to Golfo Dulce (sweet gulf) and Corcovado National Park, our location supports rebalancing the nervous system as we come into harmony with our circadian rhythms and the beautiful simplicity of jungle life.
Your investment in well-being includes:
Twice daily yoga. Anticipate a guided yoga Nidra or eco-nidra experience everyday. Yoga Nidra is a form of “conscious sleep” that facilitates deepest relaxation, recovery and subconscious re-patterning. Additional yoga and embodied inquiries, will include a balance of Flow and Yin style practices.
Nourishing meals featuring local ingredients planned by Functional Medicine Nutritionist and Ayurvedic practitioner Jennifer Milliar. Meals respect vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and dairy free choices.
Optional curated experiences and guided adventures including watching for humpback whales and dolphins while boating in Golfo Dolce, paddling a kayak through mangroves, horseback riding, and of course, hiking in remote Corcovado forrest in search of tapir, monkeys and more.
Access to soul-soothing spa services accompanied by the rhythmic sound of nearby surf.
Group ground transport to/from the Retreat Center.
Unstructured personal time to rest, reflect, renew, swim, explore or just BE.
