Join Amanda Trevelino and Radha Rose March 7-14, 2026 for METAMORPHOSIS: Mantra, Monarchs and Movement, an eco-retreat and conscious travel experience observing the miracle of the Monarch migration in Michoacán, Mexico. The mountains of Michoacán are the primary wintering site for Monarch butterflies; millions stop to rest and breed here, protected by a 13,000-hectare UNESCO biosphere reserve. Each year, the Monarch butterflies make an incredibe eight month journey that takes them across North America to Canada and back. During that time four successive generations are born and die. How they find their way back to their overwintering site remains a mystery.
Michoacán’s reserve is a critical location for endangered monarch conservation efforts; a place where the butterflies cluster in rugged, mountainous forests, painting the trees orange and often bending branches with their weight. They symbolize the transformation of the soul and more - which we’ll explore through sacred sound and mindful movement. Amanda and Radha guide self-discovery and self-expression through joyful Kirtan, mantra meditation and approachable yoga.
